Jeff Beckett

General Information:

Jeff came on staff with Campus Outreach in July of 2012. He and his wife Stephanie were married in January of 2012. They have three children, Zoey, Maxwell, and Benjamin. Jeff graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. Previously, Jeff has served as the Campus Director at Monmouth College but moved in 2020 to help plant the new region in Michigan. He is currently Campus Staff at Western Michigan University.

Testimony:

I grew up outside of the church, and knew very little about Christianity if at all. Culturally speaking, I was a “good kid” that would only try to party occasionally. When I got to college, I started a relationship with a girl who was churchy but very sensual. That relationship started great but spiraled out of control in my junior year, to the point where I was having panic attacks and questioning everything about my life and life in general. Thankfully, God had begun to connect me to some guys that lived in my hall that loved Jesus and shared the gospel with me personally while caring for me during that season of my life. Through their lives and explanations of Jesus, I came to treasure Jesus for myself, and over time, began to hate sin and grow a desire to obey Jesus in every aspect of my life. I chose to come on staff because I wanted to impact others the way I was impacted, and because I began to see the campus as an extremely strategic place to make disciples of all nations.
